Marketing strategist · Pune, India

Strategy first.
The numbers follow.

I help businesses find out what their marketing is actually missing, then fix the parts that move real numbers. I will not claim to have mastered every tool in the industry, because I have not. What I have is the more useful skill: figuring out which ones matter for the problem in front of me.

01What I actually do

I start with the problem, not the tactic.

Most businesses do not have a content problem or an ads problem. They have a nobody-has-sat-down-and-asked-what-is-actually-broken problem. That is where I begin. Once the numbers point somewhere, I get hands-on with the parts that matter: the ads, the follow-up, the content, the messaging.

I would love to tell you I have a proprietary framework with a clever name. I do not. I have a stubborn habit of asking why something is not working until it starts working. It looks less impressive on a slide. It works better in practice.

  • Meta Ads management
  • Ad creative and hooks
  • WhatsApp, email and SMS automation
  • Drip and lifecycle sequences
  • Audience and competitor research
  • SEO coordination
  • Analytics and reporting
  • Content and carousels

Not an exhaustive list. Also not a list of things I will claim to be an expert in when I am not.

02A few that worked

Proof it is not just talk.

The times the figuring-out paid off. Names stay private. Methods do not, because the method is the part that would carry over to your business. The categories below happen to be education, but the work is category-agnostic: the hook testing applies the same way to B2B software or any other paid-social account.

up to72%lower cost per lead · three campaigns rebuilt

Cut the cost of a lead by up to 72%.

Across three campaigns the leads were there, but the creative was doing most of the damage. I worked out what actually makes this audience act, rebuilt each ad around a sharper hook and a clearer offer, and ran the new work against the old. Cost per lead fell between 32% and 72%, on the same budgets, with lead quality holding steady. The old and new creative, side by side:

Original UK campaign creative

Rebuilt UK campaign creative
After₹276
32%lower CPLStudy-abroad intake campaign. Rebuilt around a concrete price anchor and visa proof points instead of a university logo wall.
Original counselling campaign creative

Rebuilt counselling campaign creative
After₹71
72%lower CPLCounselling campaign. Led with the problem the student is actually sitting in, then the way out, rather than a cheerful stock photo.
Original coaching campaign creative

Rebuilt coaching campaign creative
After₹36
67%lower CPLTest-prep campaign. A price on the offer and one memorable image beat a generic classroom shot.
~4502,000+monthly social clicks to the website

Quadrupled social-to-website traffic.

Social was sending a polite 400 to 500 visitors to the website each month. I made Instagram Stories the workhorse: consistent, click-driven sequences built to move people off the feed and onto the site. Monthly clicks passed 2,000 and stayed there.

4,000+contacts re-engaged · from a cold list of ~100,000

Revived a dead 100,000-contact list.

A list of roughly 100,000 contacts had gone completely quiet. I built a stage-based WhatsApp reactivation sequence, spaced one to three days apart, to warm it back up. Over six months, more than 4,000 contacts re-engaged and clicked through. Not bad for a list everyone had written off.

03How I work

Boring on purpose. It tends to work.

  • i.

    Find the real problem

Before a rupee goes into ads, work out what is genuinely broken. It is rarely what everyone assumed.

  • ii.

Make a plan you can follow

No jargon soup. A clear plan for what we are doing and why it should move an actual number.

  • iii.

    Build and test

Hands-on with the creative and the campaigns, measured against real cost rather than applause.

  • iv.

    Tell you the truth

What worked, what did not, and what I would change next. The flops included, because that is usually where the lesson is.

Rahul Bathija

04About

I am Rahul. I have spent the last few years doing marketing across ads, SEO, content, and automation. Mostly the unglamorous, figure-it-out kind.

I am a strategist first. I care more about whether the numbers move than whether I used the trendiest tool of the month. When something sits outside what I have done before, I say so plainly, then go and work it out, because that is most of the job anyway. I keep my client list short on purpose. Nobody hires me to get my leftover attention.

05Let's talk

Not sure what is actually wrong? Good.

That is usually where the good engagements start. Tell me what you are trying to grow and what is refusing to move. If I can help, I will tell you how. If I cannot, I will say so and point you to someone who can.
